    Make sure you pay attention to which class you are in-- Macro (211) or Micro (212) AND Hybrid or Online.

    Textbook and Materials
    * The textbook and study guide can be downloaded for FREE.
    * You can also order a printed copy for about the cost of printing (about $18 for each, including shipping), but doing so is optional. You can download and print the items you wish yourself using Staples, UPS Store, or your favorite place to print.
    * The textbook and study guide are also built into the class pages, so you can just read them one chapter at a time if you don't want to deal with the whole thing in one big gulp.

    General information about the classes:
    HERE IS HOW THE SPRING 2026 HYBRID (In-person) COURSES WORK:
    *There are in-person classes for the HYBRID classes.
     *All major class tests and homework are submitted online, and you can make-up things we do in class online as well.
    *This means you can substitute online activity for what we do in class, so you can complete the course entirely online, if you want to.
    * There is still always an actual class you can go to. You will always be able to come and get your questions answered, hear personal explanations of the material, and work on problem-solving with other students.
    You can switch back and forth between taking the class "in-person" and doing work online, as you discover your capabilities and needs.
    * Although there are specific "due dates" for everything, you may complete the tests and other work for the class early if you want to, at any time that is convenient for you (up to the deadline).
    * If you do miss work, there are lots of chances to make work up, in a way that is built into the studying and work you are doing anyway.
    * All exams and other coursework are based on (or are word-for-word from) questions and materials available online, such as the course Study Guide.
    HERE IS HOW THE Spring 2026 ONLINE COURSES WORK:
    *There are NO in-person classes for the ONLINE classes.
     *All class tests and activities are online.
     * Although there are specific "due dates" for everything, you may complete the tests and other work for the class early if you want to, at any convenient time (up to the deadline).
    * There are "interactive" assignments, but you have flexibility in the times you can do them. There are no Webex or Zoom meetings that you have to join at a particular time.
    * If you do miss work, there are lots of chances to make work up, in a way that is built into the studying and work you are doing anyway.
    * All exams and other coursework are based on (or are word-for-word from) questions and materials available online, such as the course Study Guide.

    If you are not enrolled but want to find out more about classes:
    You can "test drive" a class for free!
    (Of course, you have to actually pay money to Phoenix College and officially enroll to get credit, but you can play around and even do work for the semester on this site, even before you pay to officially enroll)
    Just set up an account (see instructions above) and try the class you are interested in.

    If you are not enrolled at Phoenix College, but want to just use the resources and learn without getting a grade, visit PCECON (the classes don't count, kind of like a free audit of the courses)
